Who am I?
I'm Gianluca Mereu - Roaster, Trainer, and Coffee Consultant. I've been dedicated to the world of coffee for over 12 years, with experience in craft roasting and professional training. Throughout my career, I've managed roasting companies, overseeing roasting and corporate quality control , and coffee shop chains, leading them to become among the best coffee shops in Europe today. These experiences have allowed me to train hundreds of baristas, travel to coffee plantations, and experience firsthand the daily lives of coffee growers, giving me a comprehensive view of coffee around the world.
Our goal?
Elevating coffee culture and offering an authentic, high-quality product. Essentzia was born from the desire to break down the barriers between the café and the roastery , offering high-quality artisanal coffee, accessible to all.
